This collection contains records of the Department of History primarily for the years 1990-2000. The University of West Georgia History Department is part of the College of Arts and Humanities. The department's goal is to help students in areas of research, critical thinking, and writing. The department's mission is to teach students about the past and about the discipline of history as an integral part of a complete liberal arts education for citizens in our complex, culturally diverse, and increasingly global society.
