President’s Office records, General files contain administrative documents and items pertaining to West Georgia College, the State University of West Georgia, and the University of West Georgia that were created by the president's office. The bulk of items were created during Dr. Sethna's presidency, but some items from Dr. Townsend's and Dr. Marrero's tenure are included as well. This collection includes annual reports, architectural plans, audit documents, banners, budget documents, construction plans, general topic files, institutional research, legal files, master plans, memoranda, official correspondence, political files, presentations, printed emails, progress reports, university system files, and yearly presidential and college reports. Subjects covered include institutional research and planning, state political figures, court cases and grievances, master plans, internal audits, buildings and dormitories on campus, university system files (Board of Regents, specific chancellors, enrollment reports, fiscal affairs, etc.) and project briefings and floorplans for construction and renovation on campus.
