Scope and Contents

This collection contains a 15" x 30" matted pen and ink drawing of Front Campus Drive signed by Henry Setter and dated 1976. The drawing includes a couple in period attire standing in the foreground near a period automobile. This collection also contains proposals for the West Georgia College logo.

Biographical / Historical

Born on August 13, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Henry Setter attended Purcell High School in Cincinnati, the Dayton Art Institute, and Ohio State University. He later attended the University of Georgia where he received the Master of Fine Arts degree. Since 1977, he taught in the Department of Art at then West Georgia College and later, the State University of West Georgia, retiring in 2000. Henry Setter died on January 21, 2009.
