Biographical / Historical
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at West Georgia College fields sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and track. Prior to 1983, the College's athletic program was part of NCAA Division III, with the football team winning the National Championship in 1980. In 1983, the College moved to NCAA Division II and also became part of the Gulf South Conference.
