Biographical / Historical
Violette Harris Denney was born July 5, 1933, in Carrollton, Georgia. She graduated from Villa Rica High School in May 1950. Mrs. Denney is a life member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which she joined in 1990. She currently serves as Abraham Baldwin Chapter Registrar and Vice Chairman Georgia State Service to Veterans. Mrs. Denney is a member of First Christian Church in Carrollton where she taught second grade Sunday School for over 20 years and also served on the Mission Committee. She is a quilter and was named to Who's Who in American Quilting in 1996 by the American Quilter's Society.
