Scope and Contents

Scrapbook containing 23 leaves. Seventeen leaves were used for pasted down color lithographic advertisement cards and news clippings, and 6 leaves were left blank. The scrapbook has brown cloth covered boards with green, silver, black, and tan embossed decorations and silver title on the front cover. The front hinge is cracked. Cloth and pages are in good to very good condition. The contents include a speech by N. P. Willis, Bible and religious verse, an obituary, a marriage announcement, an article regarding dedication of a "New Presbyterian Church by Rev. J. H. Martin of Atlanta," several loose clippings laid inside, seven color lithographs and advertisement cards ranging in size from 8" x 5" and smaller, and one hand written recipe for the whooping cough. Inscription in pencil written on the front paste down reads "Miss Sarah Dimmock from Mollie Dec 30th 1880 Carrolton, Ga."
