Scope and Contents note
Materials related to thirteen fraternities and sororities on the West Georgia College campus. These items include: Pamphlets from various organizations, a letter written by a student containing historical information, correspondence, membership forms, a medal, attendance ledgers, meeting minutes, newsletters, newspaper clippings, rituals of initiation, membership directories, and a scrapbook containing photographs and newspaper clippings of the Lambda chapter of Zeta Sigma Pi.

The Greek Letter Society collection contains bylaws, historical information, member information, constitution, and statement of purpose. They also contain information on the structure of their respective organizations and national governing officers. Two of the documents explicitly name these organizations as belonging to West Georgia College, providing a chronology of the emergence of Greek Life on campus. This collection is a mix of fraternity and sorority honor societies, a few being co-ed. There are currently only five operating on campus. Several of these organizations re-named or re-incorporated their local name with the national. ETA Sigma evolved is a chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha which is still exists on campus. Beta Epsilon re-incorporated with the national name of Alpha Phi Alpha. Phi Sigma Alpha evolved into Zeta Sigma Pi.
