Biographical/Historical note
This collection contains the minutes of West Georgia College’s Division of Humanities from 1970-1972. These minutes detail discussions and changes within the college such as updating graduate programs, distributing scholarships, and instating the foreign language placement exam which continues today. The minutes also detail safety concerns about a series of bomb threats during which a bomb was found in the Humanities building with no explosive inside.
