Biographical/Historical note

The Carroll/Heard Retired Educators Association is a branch of the Georgia Retired Educators Association, Inc. (GREA). This organization is also referred to in some records as the Carroll County Retired Teachers Association. The GREA has the mission of uniting retired educators in Georgia for fellowship, support, educational/community service, and in an effort to improve benefits for all retired educators through cooperation with local, state, and national organizations.
