This collection contains audio and visual oral history interviews with World War II veterans conducted by Dr. Kenneth J. Bindas and Victoria Anderson, his Graduate Research Assistant. The interviews were conducted at American Legion Post 148. There are no transcriptions of the interviews available.

Rights have been transferred to the University of West Georgia. Each interviewee signed a release form which granted all rights to the interview to the Irvine Ingram Library.

Biographical/Historical note

Dr. Kenneth J. Bindas was an assistant professor of History at West Georgia College from 1989 to 1994. Bindas received his B.S.Ed. from Youngstown State, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Toledo.
