Scope and Contents note
The League of Women Voters of Carrollton-Carroll County, formerly the Carrollton League of Women Voters, began formal operation in 1961. A nonpartisan and non-profit organization, its work is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government. These records include educational pamphlets, booklets, bulletins and newsletters, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, maps, and notes on a variety of political topics.

This file contains position statements, a local program handbook, tips for bulletin editors, Legislative Newsletters, and a Board Report (1998). There are also two CDs, one from the League of Women Voters of Georgia Lt. Governor Candidates Forum (dated June 6, 2006), and one of photos from the League of Women Voters of Georgia Power of the Vote Dinner (dated September 2000).
