Reverend David Warner Kite posed with his wife, Julia. David Warner Kite was a confederate veteran who built a log cabin in Cleburne County, Alabama in 1870, which is now owned by Janice and Harold Ivester.

Additional information about the man in the photo, David Warner Kite (Kight/Knight). David was born in 1841 and died in 1921. David enlisted in 1861 in Montgomery, Alabama as a private in Company E, 13th Alabama Infantry.
