The collection consists of six document boxes of correspondence between Robert D. Tisinger and his representatives with the following groups or individuals: Rural Electrification Administration officials in Washington, D.C.; local, state, and federal government officials; suppliers and contractors, and clients served by Carroll REA (currently Carroll EMC). The collection also contains the following documents: Right of way easements, contracts and... agreements (e.g., project funding renewals, suppliers' payment schedules, etc.), papers relating to lawsuits, board meeting announcements and minutes; and other documentation related to the association's activities (e.g., newsletters, annual meeting brochures, etc.).
