Quarantine Tybee Island Savannah, Georgia July 31, 1866 Paymaster U.S.A. Savannah, Ga. Dear Sir, I send herewith per kindness of [Briv. Maj. Scholl Lungre?] my pay after for the current month and you will oblige me much if you will return me by that gentleman a check on New York, payable to the order of [Mrs.?] A. H. Nickerson for one hundred dollars and the balance in currency. I send the order on which the payment can be endorsed and I also request the [said/paid?] order may be returned at the same time.
